Seasoned Pocket Steak

What do you need
1 Lump of meat 1-1.5 kg (Roo, beef or mutton)
Seasoning
1/4 loaf bread
1 Onion finely chopped
2 rashes bacon finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 egg
salt & pepper to taste
How to do it
Take a knife & poke into meat forming a pocket.
Now make seasoning
Cut crust from bread & crumb.
Mix this together with the onion, bacon & tomato.
When all mixed, add the egg & salt & pepper.
Mix well.
Back to the Meat
Stuff all of the seasoning into the pocket of meat.
Close up with skewer.
Place in camp Oven & bake for 3 hours.
Remember that if you are using roo meat, to baste every now & then to
prevent it drying out too much.
